What data we collect
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and it has no forms. Fonts are served from this website, not from third parties. We only process personal data when you write to us by email: your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message.
Our hosting and network provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Why and on what legal basis
We use the data you send us only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR: steps at your request and our legitimate interest in replying). We do not sell your data or use it for marketing without your consent.
How long we keep it
Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless the law requires longer.
Who receives it
Our email provider (MXroute) and hosting provider (Cloudflare) process data on our behalf. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Purchases on Amazon
Our books are sold by Amazon. When you buy one, Amazon processes your data under its own privacy notice; we do not receive your name, address or order details.
